Get Bag Fit!

London BBI/BBS Certification – June 2011

July 18th 2011

These events just keep getting better and better!  This past London event showcased the roll out of the new BBI Certification.  BBI stands for Bulgarian Bag Instructor, and the only difference between the BBI and the BBS (Bulgarian Bag Specialist) is the Spin Test requirement.  We realize the Spin Test can be quite daunting and unfortunately, we’ve lost some great prospects because of this physically demanding requirement.  It’s not that these students are weak or physically unable, it’s that sometimes in the face of a heavy client schedule, they just do not have enough time to spend on the physical preparation required to pass the Spin Test during the course, but nonetheless realize the tremendous benefits the Bulgarian Bag offers to their clients.  So don’t think that these BBI’s get to kick back while the BBS’s are taking the Spin Test – they’re still required to take the physical test during the course, but we’re realizing that even in the face of this daunting feat, almost everyone who initially thought they’d stop at the BBI have decided to truly Get Bag Fit and go the whole way to obtain their BBS since they’ve got three months to perfect their Spin Test technique after gaining an incredible amount of technical experience during this valuable course and gain the know-how to integrate the Bulgarian Bag into their training regimens.

A big shout out to this great group of fitness professionals!
