Extra-Large Bulgarian Training Bag – 50 lbs.

Recommended for physically well-prepared athletes with outstanding strength and anaerobic conditioning. This bag is not meant for the casual user. This bag is demanding on all levels and should only be used by the experienced athlete.

Large Bulgarian Training Bag – 37 lbs.

The large is recommended for the athlete with superior anaerobic capacity and conditioning. To use this bag for a full standard workout will be extremely difficult to complete with no prior bag training or conditioning. This bag places great demands on grip strength and endurance. The casual user will have difficulty using this bag.

Medium Bulgarian Training Bag – 26 lbs.

The medium bag is recommended for the average athlete who has average anaerobic capacity and conditioning. This is great bag for most men who are starting off with Bulgarian Bag training. The bag will challenge the user in all energy systems more predominately in anaerobic capacity, muscle endurance and grip strength and endurance. This bag will be functional for many years and will always be appropriate for training.

Small Bulgarian Training Bag – 17 lbs.

The small bag is recommended for most women of average conditioning and strength who are starting out with the Bulgarian Bag. This bag will be to light for most men unless you are extremely de-conditioned. The small bag will be challenging in for most women in the 115 to 145 lb. range depending on training age and back ground in strength training. Even if you are heavier, and a strength athlete, it may be best to start with the small bag to learn the movements and eventually move up to the 26 lb. bag.

Light Bulgarian Training Bag – 11 lbs.

This bag is recommended for very light or de-conditioned women. This bag would also be appropriate for children incorporating movement based activities to their play time and exercise activities.
