Part 3: Program Design/Coaching

This part of the student evaluation will be assessing the students’ ability to effectively write a basic exercise program and lead the other students through the program that was designed.  The following criteria will be assessed:

Written Program

  • Written presentation
  • Attention to detail in program
  • Legible
  • Followed instructions for assignment
  • Handed in assignment

Instructional Skills

  • Session Control
  • Session Organization
  • Visual Instruction (demonstrations)
  • Verbal Instruction
  • Voice Projection and Control
  • Instructors Confidence
  • Ability to Motivate

Technique Correction/Cuing

  • Word Selection
  • Cue individuals while controlling group
  • Correct most important problems

Students must be competent in all areas to pass!
